Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our collectible villages and holiday decor.
How can I tell if a Department 56 piece is retired?
Once a piece is retired, the molds are broken and no further production occurs. You can verify the status of any piece by checking the 'Retired' section on our website or looking for the gold seal on official collectors' checklists.
What is the standard shipping time for fragile collectibles?
We take extra care in packaging our porcelain and resin pieces. Orders typically process within 2-3 business days, and standard shipping takes an additional 5-7 business days depending on your location.
What should I do if my ceramic village arrives damaged?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If a piece arrives broken, please take a photo of the damage and the packaging, then contact our support team to initiate a free replacement or full refund.
Are your power adapters compatible with international outlets?
Most of our lighted buildings use a standard 120V AC adapter designed for North American outlets. For international use, we recommend using a certified step-down transformer to prevent damage to the internal LED lighting.
Do you offer repair services for older vintage pieces?
While we do not offer in-house repair services for vintage items, we do sell replacement bulbs, cords, and small accessories. For structural repairs, we recommend consulting a professional ceramic restoration specialist.
How do I join the Department 56 Village Collectors Club?
You can join our official collectors club by selecting the 'Membership' option in our main menu. Members receive exclusive annual pieces, quarterly newsletters, and early access to new release announcements.
